The coffee process
At Outlaw Elixirs, we source our coffee from around the globe through trusted importers who seek out the highest quality, Fair Trade Arabica beans. Our coffee comes from diverse regions, each with unique growing conditions — including variations in temperature, humidity, soil composition, and altitude — all of which shape the distinctive flavors of each batch.
On the farms, coffee plants are carefully cultivated, and only ripe, red coffee cherries are hand-harvested. The cherries are then husked, dried, and packed into large bags, weighing up to 80kg depending on the variety, before being shipped to our roastery.
Once the beans arrive, we use a state-of-the-art fluid-bed coffee roaster to transform green Ethiopian and Brazilian beans into our signature Original Outlaw Blend. This roasting method enhances the beans' natural flavors while ensuring an even roast. Afterward, the coffee is rapidly cooled to halt the roasting process, preserving its peak flavor.
Finally, each batch is hand-packaged and labeled in specialized bags designed to allow degassing while maintaining freshness, so you can enjoy every cup at its best.
